The Calgary Scorpions
Calgary's senior sledge hockey team is made up of approximately ten to fifteen players. The team plays full contact sledge hockey and typically has athletes over the age of fifteen years old.
The senior team has been in existence for over ten years and includes people with and without disabilities of both genders who are interested in the game of sledge hockey. This team plays competitively during games and tournaments.
The Calgary Stingers
Calgary's junior sledge hockey club is entering its third season and is made up of approximately ten to fifteen players. The team plays non-contact sledge hockey and typically has athletes under the age of fifteen years old.
This team has individials of both genders with disabilities and without that like to play sledge hockey at both a recreational and competitive level. Some players choose to play at the recreational level only while others play both competitively and recreationally in games and tournaments.
