The Calgary Scorpions
Calgary's senior sledge hockey team is made up of approximately ten to fifteen players. The team plays full contact sledge hockey and typically has athletes over the age of fifteen years old. This team plays competitively in a provincial league and in tournaments.
The Calgary Stingers
Calgary's intermediate sledge hockey club is entering its fourth season and is made up of approximately ten to fifteen players. The team phas athletes of all ages and abilities who are focused more on recreational sledge hockey or who are developing to play competitively.
The Calgary Venom
In 2010, Calgary's novice sledge hockey club began to form with four enthusiastic new players. It has since grown to form a full team that competes in novice level tournaments. The team plays non-contact sledge hockey and typically has athletes under the age of twelve years old.
